As a result of over 20 years in the manufacturing industry, our founders Matti Viita and Aki Maenpaa had been struggling to find a reliable and easy way to understand their machinery better. They found out that the common problems they faced every day were solvable. So Viimatech Digital was founded to help others managing their installed equipment fleet with greater level of certainty!

I have personally worked almost all my career to develop electrical equipment services and solutions for reducing energy consumption and providing predictive maintenance.

Viimatech Digital idea is to utilize electric motor as sensor. We do that by providing data capture solution and value added analytics on the measured motor current.

Pumping systems are energy intensive, accounting for nearly 25 per cent of the energy consumed by electric motors, and 20 to 60 per cent of total energy usage in a number of industrial, and water and wastewater treatment facilities. This is the reason why we, as Viimatech Digital, are focusing on pump applications as first priority.
